A new addition to the family, the small brown fuzzy.

It's been a while since I wrote anything on here. That's not to say there haven't been things that made me smile, just that one little thing in particular has been keeping the family busy. In July we welcomed a small brown fuzzy thing into the house. Twiglet, our new Border Terrier has been keeping us busy ever since. She has settled in really well and has quickly become part of the furniture. Her antics keep us entertained and she is great at keeping me company. My husband loves walking and the plan is that she will go with him when he does some hill walking next summer, although at the moment he is just enjoying the small trots around the block until she is old enough to go further.

We took Twig to Yorkshire for a few days in the summer, staying at The White Bear in Masham, a place we have stayed before. It was terrifying taking a young pup to stay in a hotel but she managed not to disgrace herself at all and was adored by all as we sat outside in the evening having a drink at the pub.We managed a short walk up Malham cove with her which she loved even though it threw it down on our walk back down to the car!

One of the best things about having Twig at home is the welcome you get when she spots you, even if you have just been out of the room. The happiness on her face and in the wagging tail is worth all the bitey moments that we are praying she grows out of. So I guess as well as Twig making us very happy, we make her happy too xx
